ROVERS' Academy squad will jet off to Switzerland on Thursday to take part in an end of season tournament.

Gary Bowyer and his under 18 side will once again take part in the Altstätten Tournament in Switzerland, with games taking place this Friday and Saturday.

Rovers have previously twice taken part in the tournament, lifting the trophy in 2004 and finishing fourth in 2006.

Three 40 minute games take place on Friday for Rovers, with games against BSC Young Boys, Slavia Sofia and Bröndby IF.

Saturday sees games between the group winners, before the final takes place in the evening.
