EX-ROVERS Andy Todd and David May are set to bolster the Burnley defence tomorrow.
Todd, who had his transfer request granted by Rovers earlier this summer, has joined Rovers' Nationwide neighbours on a month's loan.
Clarets' manager Stan Ternent has promised Todd he will definitely start for his new employers as they gear up to face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.
Todd, whose chances of a start at Ewood Park have been pushed back with the arrivals of Lorenzo Amoruso and Markus Babbel, is unhappy about being a squad player and is seeking regular starts.
On the loan move to Burnley, he said: "I've been given the chance to play first team football. That's what I'm paid to do and that's what I want to do."
The former Bolton and Charlton player, son of former England star Colin Todd, is expected to line up alongside veteran David May, another former Rover, who moved to Turf Moor from Manchester United in the summer.
Another Rovers player linked with a possible loan move is Alan Mahon. Division One club Ipswich Town have expressed interest in the Irish midfielder who had a successful loan spell at Cardiff City last season.
