Souness hopes for lady luck

ROVERS BOSS Graeme Souness was "angry, frustrated and feeling sorry for himself" after Rovers slumped to their third consecutive FA Barclaycard Premiership defeat with a 1-0 loss at home to Charlton.

Hermann Hreidarsson's 33rd minute header was enough to sink Rovers on a barren night of few chances and little to excite a crowd of just 19,939.

"Lady Luck is not with us at the moment," Souness said afterwards.

"We have shot ourselves in the foot yet again as we should not have lost this game. They took their one and only chance in the first half.

"I feel we did enough to get something from the match but we went to sleep and a lack of concentration at vital times has cost us."
