Hughes hopeful over Samba
BOSS Mark Hughes is hopeful that the injury to Christopher Samba won't be serious enough to keep him out of Rovers' remaining fixtures.
The giant defender limped out of Sunday's 1-0 victory over Portsmouth after a collision with Niko Kranjcar with five minutes remaining, but the Rovers manager doesn't think the injury is too much of a concern.
"He got a bang on the outside of the knee," revealed Hughes. "We hope it is just an impact injury and that he should be okay.
"If it is twisted then it could be a bigger issue for us, it'll be sore for a couple of days, we hope that is just it is."
Rovers are next in action on Saturday against Derby County at Ewood Park. Tickets are on open sale with prices from £15 Adults, £10 for Seniors or Club 16-21 Members and just £7 for Juniors. Reserve your seats online or call the ticket office on 0871 222 1444 for further information.
