ROVERS boss Mark Hughes has continued his preparations for the 2008/09 by informing a trio of first-team players that they will not be offered new deals with the club.

Stephane Henchoz, Bruno Berner and Peter Enckelman all see their contracts end this summer and they are free to find new clubs.

Enckelman, on the losing side for loan club Cardiff City in Saturday's FA Cup final against Portsmouth, had spent four years with the Ewood Park club, but behind Brad Friedel in the pecking order, he was limited to just two Premier League outings and one League cup game during his time.

Since signing 18 months ago from FC Basel for a nominal fee, former Swiss international Bruno Berner had made six appearances for Mark Hughes' side, whilst Stephane Henchoz, himself a free transfer, didn't manage a single first-team appearance last term.

Also joining the trio in leaving the club are Reserve team players Raffaele De Vita and Zac Jones.
