SELECTION POSERS FOR BOSS

Savage is in line for his debut this evening |
A PROBABLE shortage of midfield options means that Robbie Savage is almost assured of his Rovers debut tonight in the Premiership clash with Bolton Wanderers at Ewood Park (8pm).
With Tugay suspended and both Garry Flitcroft and Barry Ferguson fighting to shake off injuries, Rovers could well pair new boy Savage with David Thompson.
Manager Mark Hughes has a host of selection issues to confront.
He is also missing top goalscorer Paul Dickov through a one-match ban, but New Zealand skipper Ryan Nelsen returns after being ineligible for the FA Cup replay win over Cardiff City and there is hope too that striker Jay Bothroyd will be back after injury.
Rovers will be looking to record their second double of the campaign having accounted for Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium back in December thanks to a wonderful goal from Dickov.
