Signed on transfer deadline day in 2005 from Swedish side Högaborgs BK, Martin is a young left back with potential.
Already an under 18 international for his country, Olsson impressed during trials at Brockhall and was subsequently signed for a small fee.
Although brought to the club as a left back, Martin is also comfortable playing further forward on the flank.
After appearing as a sub in Rovers' 3-0 pre-season friendly win over Preston North End in August 2007, Olsson made his senior bow in Rovers' 2-0 UEFA Cup win over MyPa at the end of August.
