Biography:
A full back who is able to operate on the right or the left, Tony has represented Northern Ireland at under 18 and under 19 level and the Republic of Ireland at under 21 level
Part of the successful Academy side that won the 2004/05 national title, Tony has made the step up to reserve team level to be a regular member of Glyn Hodges' side.
Awarded with squad number 34 at the end of March 2006, Kane signed a new two year deal to see him contracted until 2008 a couple of weeks later.
2006 saw him enjoy a few months on loan with Stockport County, and last season he spent a successful five month spell on loan with Belgium club Cercle Brugge from January to May 2007.
Captain of the Rovers Reserves, Tony was called up to the Northern Ireland senior squad for their Euro 2008 qualifiers against Latvia and Iceland in September 2007.
