After progressing through the Academy system where he was captain of the under 18s, Dean has gone on to now become a regular member of Glyn Hodges' reserve team squad and also to wear the armband for the second string.
A strong defender who is equally good on the ground and in the air, started his career at right back but has become more accomplished at the heart of the defence.
