This Australian youth international burst on the scene at Rovers with the Academy, but sustained a broken leg whilst away on international duty, and only returned to action towards the end of the 05/06 season.
Now a regular with Glyn Hodges' reserve team, Rostyn is a calm and composed midfielder, good on the ball with an excellent good passing range, Rostyn can operate in central midfield or wide right.
The 2007/08 season has seen Rostyn troubled by injuries, meaning he hasn't featured as often as he would have liked, but in January 2008 he signed a new deal with Rovers until the summer of 2009 and followed that up by completing a move to SPL side Gretna on loan until the end of the season.
